This website is operated by Limivex Marketing Consultants Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (“Limivex”, “we”, “us”). Our registered office is First Floor, Swan Buildings, Swan Street, Manchester, M4 5JW.
Limivex is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. It explains what we collect through www.limivex.co.uk and when you enquire about or use our services, why we collect it, the legal bases we rely on, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
The information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete an enquiry form, book a call or email us, we collect your name, email address, company, phone number where you provide it, and anything you choose to tell us in your message. When you become a client we also process the contact, contractual and billing details needed to deliver and account for the work.
When you start an application to work with us, we collect your name, position, firm name and work email before the suitability questions begin. We save those details and any answers you provide as the application progresses, including where you do not finish it.
If you are invited to book a conversation, we also collect the time you choose and use your work email, name and firm name to create a private Google Calendar invitation and Google Meet link.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site we collect limited technical and usage data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.
Cookies. We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. Any analytics or non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time through your browser settings.
How we use your information and our legal bases
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information or proposal you ask for, on the basis of our legitimate interests and to take steps at your request before entering a contract;
- assess whether Limivex and your firm should work together, retain an incomplete application briefly, and follow up where appropriate, on the basis of our legitimate interests and to take steps at your request before entering a contract;
- arrange and administer a conversation you choose to book, including sending a calendar invitation and meeting link, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract;
- deliver our services and manage the relationship once you are a client, on the basis of performing our contract with you;
- operate, secure and improve the website, on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a safe and effective service;
- send relevant updates to business contacts, on the basis of our legitimate interests or your consent, with a one-click unsubscribe in every message; and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These fall into a small number of categories: website hosting and delivery, bot protection, work email verification, email delivery, call scheduling, calendar and video meeting services, analytics, and customer relationship management. Google processes the booking details needed to create the Calendar invitation and Meet link. We may also share information with our professional advisers, or with authorities where we are required to do so by law.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months from our last contact with you unless you become a client. We keep client records for the duration of the engagement and for up to six years afterwards to meet our legal and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed we delete it or anonymise it.
We delete incomplete applications after seven days. We keep completed applications for up to 24 months from our last contact with you unless you become a client or a longer period is required by law. Booking records follow the same retention period. The event is removed from our organiser calendar when that retention period ends. An attendee may retain or remove their own calendar copy independently.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@limivex.com. We will respond within one month, and there is normally no charge.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information relating to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, so please check back from time to time.
