The Brief

What they came to us with.

83ZERO had built a strong reputation placing technical IT talent for blue chips and specialist tech vendors. Whilst running a project for a large European vendor placing data scientists, they spotted a much bigger opportunity, a specialist brand built solely around data hiring.

83DATA was born. Like any new brand entering an established space, the launch had to do two things at once. It had to feel credible enough to win conversations with senior data leaders who had never heard of it, and it had to do so quickly enough that the parent business saw payback before momentum stalled.

Limivex was brought in to build the launch collateral and run the campaign that would turn the idea into a working pipeline.

Our Approach

How we ran the campaign.

  1. Lead with collateral that buys credibility

    Before a single email went out, we produced the two assets the brand needed in front of prospects. A short promotional video, storyboarded, scored and edited from stock footage on a tight budget, and a brochure that put real client testimonials and the 83DATA proposition into a single piece prospects could keep and forward. Both gave the new brand the feel of an established one from day one.

  2. Target by role, not by company

    Once the collateral was in hand, we ran a targeted email campaign against a senior data audience by job title. The first wave secured meetings with key decision-makers that 83DATA closed into retained accounts, accounts that continue to send their data roles to 83DATA today.

  3. Build authority with original research

    With the campaign producing revenue, the client commissioned a 2021 salary guide for the data niche. We designed it, researched the content and shaped the narrative, then marketed it to the existing target list plus a wider audience of 5,000 senior data job titles. The guide gave 83DATA a reason to be in the inbox of every senior data hire in their patch.

  4. Hold the partnership, do not just hit and run

    Two years on, 83DATA remains a Limivex client. We continue to build collateral and run the email programme that generated their first wins, with each new asset reinforcing the position the launch campaign established.
