Recruitment, Data Centre and Energy Infrastructure

The marketing function for a global data centre recruiter, owned end to end

Clear had no senior marketing leader and a website that no longer matched the firm. So we became the function: a fractional CMO owning the plan, with the team shipping a custom website, an automated jobs feed off LinkedIn, a two sided portal, an ongoing SEO and blog programme, and a weekly LinkedIn cadence. The first inbound lead arrived within a week of launch, after a long quiet stretch on the old WordPress site.

The Brief

What they came to us with.

Clear is a specialist recruiter in one of the hardest hiring markets in engineering: data centre and energy infrastructure. Since 2017 the firm has placed the engineers who commission and run the facilities that hyperscalers and colocation operators depend on, from London out to New York and Dubai.

Their previous WordPress site showed none of that. The brand looked generalist, vacancies were duplicated by hand from LinkedIn into a tired job board, and the site rarely produced a serious enquiry. A firm selling deep sector authority had a shopfront working against it.

What Clear did not have was anyone owning marketing. So they brought in Limivex as the function: a fractional CMO to set the strategy and lead it, and the team to build and run everything under it. The plan came first. A custom website worthy of the brand, an automated jobs system to end the manual duplication, a two sided portal for applications, a content engine across SEO and the blog with deeper guides when a theme earned one, and a weekly LinkedIn cadence to keep Clear in front of operators and engineers between mandates.

The Build

The website, built to earn search.

We replaced WordPress with a custom Next.js build. Performance budgets were set from the first wireframe. Technical SEO was handled at the architecture level: clean URLs, semantic markup, structured data, fast Core Web Vitals. Every page was written to pull search traffic, with the copy doing the work the design used to leave to a bare CTA.

The Platform

The jobs platform, end to end.

Vacancies sync from LinkedIn into a sector organised job board. Candidates apply through a portal, and consultants handle every applicant in one place.

01

A live feed from LinkedIn

A pipeline pulls Clear's live vacancies straight from LinkedIn onto a sector organised job board, filterable by discipline, region and contract type. Consultants post once and the website updates itself.

  • Pulled live from Clear's LinkedIn channels
  • Filtered by discipline, region and contract type
  • Seven specialist areas, each with named consultants
  • Manual duplication and stale listings, gone

02

One portal, both sides of the desk

Each vacancy carries a named consultant and routes candidates straight into a portal. On the other side, those same consultants review and shortlist every applicant, so there is one source of truth for every live mandate in every region.

  • Register, upload a CV and apply in one click
  • Track every application from a single dashboard
  • Each vacancy attributed to the consultant who owns it
  • One platform serving London, New York and Dubai

The Content Engine

The content engine.

Long-form articles ghostwritten with Clear's consultants, plus deeper guides when a theme earns a stand-alone piece. Each one is built to land with the operators and senior engineers Clear places, and it feeds the LinkedIn channel with material for weeks afterwards.
